BUSH FIRE RELIEF
AUSTRALIAN CLUB PARTY
LARGE NUMBER OF GUESTS BRIDGE AND MAH JONG PLAYED In aid of the Australian bush fire relief fund, a party was held yesterday afternoon by the Australian Club at the home of the vice-president, Mrs. Alan St. Clair Brown, Ranfurly Road, Epsom. There was a large attendance of guests. Contract and auction bridge and inali jong were played at -'SO tables. The president of the club, Mrs. J. T. F. Mitchell, thanked the visitors for their response to the appeal, and presented crystal posy bowls of Australian manufacture to the prize winners. The committee members present included Mrs. 6. Clark-Walker, vice-president, Mrs. Trevor Gulliver, secretary, Mrs. M. Webster, Mrs. E. M. Walters, Mrs. 0. C. Tudehope, Mrs. W. R. C. Williams, Mrs. J. T. Coote and Mrs. H. H. Corbin.
