BY-LAW SUSPENDED
HAMILTON CAR PARKING TEMPORARY STEP FOR RELIEF [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday ' The recent prosecutions brought by the police against motorists for parking their cars in Victoria Street, Hamilton, for longer than 30 minutes led to the Borough Council last evening deciding to suspend the by-law governing the restriction until the Garden Place area was ready for occupation. Mr. F. Findlav, who moved the suspension, said that with the inconvenience consequent on the removal of the hill it was not wise to enforce too many restrictions.
