MR. REARDON AND FARMERS

Strong exception to remarks in connection with the farming industry made by Mr. M. J. Reardon, conciliation commissioner, during the hearing of a freezing workers' dispute recently, was taken by delegates to the monthly meeting of the Auckland provincial executive of> the Farmers' Union yesterday. The remarks were described by delegates as inaccurate and biassed. It was decided to write to the Minister of Labour, Hon. P. C. '.Webb, and ask for an explanation.
