GOLF TITLE RETAINED
After touring Australia and New Zealand, Bobby Locke, the South African professional golfer, returned to his native Transvaal early this year and ihas retaimd the Transvaal open title. With a record total of 265 for 72 holes. Locke had 26 strokes to spare front his nearest opponent. In the final round he shattered <ll records with a 64. Henry Cotton, tie British professional, has declined L>cke's challenge to a match for a £SOO side wager. It will be interesting to ollow Locke's performances in open eo npany in Britain this year.
