CENTENARY PROGRAMME POSSIBLE AUSTRALIAN TEAM Mr. George Aldridge. secretary of the New Zealand Boxing Association, met the committee of the Auckland Association yesterday. The purpose of his visit was to contact various associations during his trip from Wellington lo the norlli, with a view lo out lining the council's policy for 11)30. It is probable'that an Australian amateur team will visit New Zealand during Centenary year, and negotiations are in. hand, to stage a British Empire championship scries Mr. Aldridge anticipates that the New 7.ealand Boxing community can look forward to a very busy and varied programme for the coming season.
