YOUTH FOUND GUILTY

On a charge of having unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl aged loj years at Otnlui.hu on September 8, Thomas George Harry Crowley, aged 19 (Sir. Sullivan) was tried before Mr. Justice Callan and a jury in the Supreme Court yesterday. A jury failed to agree when the case was heard last week. The Crown Prosecutor, Mr. V. R. Meredith, appeared for the Crown. Accused gave evidence on his own behalf. After a retirement of three hours the jury returned a verdict of guilty of attempted carnal knowledge and accused was remanded for sentence to-day.
