METEOROLOGICAL QUESTIONS DR. E. KIDSON'S MISSION [BY TELEGBAPH —PBESB ASSOCIATION] ■WELLINGTON, Monday A series of papers on various aspects of meteorology was read at the Science Congress at Canberra, said Dr. E. Kidson on his return to-day, and Sir George Simpson, late director of tho Meteorological Office, London, had read one on the cause* of ice ages. At tho conclusion of the congress Dr. Kidson visited Melbourne and discussed meteorological questions, including the provision of meteorological facilities for the transtasman air service, with the Commonwealth meteorological authorities. He could not say anything on this question other than that the programme decided on at the recent conference of Australian and New Zealand representatives would bo carried out.
