FRENCH SECURITIES
UNPRECEDENTED BOOM PARIS BOURSE CONDITIONS FAVOURABLE FACTORS (Received December 20, 5.5 p.m.) Times Cable , LONDON. Dec. 20 There was an unprecedented boom in securities on the Paris Bourse to-day, says the Times' correspondent in the French capital. Rentes jumped three to six points and profit-taking was easily absorbed. Government stocks finished three to seven points higher. This can be ascribed to the easy passage of the Foreign Ministry's appropriations, the absence of threats to France in Signor Mussolini's speech in Sardinia on Sunday and business men's optimism regarding the success of M. Reynaud's four-year plan.
