GAMES FOR TO-MORROW JOHNS TO PLAY PIONEERS Probably (ho finest match of the season will be provided at Blandford Park to-morrow afternoon in the meet iiisr of Johns and Pioneers in the knock-out competition of the Auckland Baseball Association. Both sides are undefeated and have scored some sound victories over other strong teams. Pioneers has two or three e> perienced players who may bo able to show out in the base runninar. but, in all the other departments there is little to choose between the players, and a thrillinß game should result. The early mutch will see the first appearance of Jonns B and Milne and Choyce at Blandford Park, two other teams which are still in the knock-out competition. A close contest should result, in which the work of the fieldsmen will play a biff part. With the Auckland v. Canada match set down for the following Saturday, keen interest will attach lo the frames at Gillies Park, Sturnes Park, Stanlev Bay and Avondale Racecourso, as the selection of the Auckland representatives id to bo made to-morrow.
