BOROUGH COUNCIL FUNDS SUM OF £387 INVOLVED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] OAMARU, Tuesday A plea of guilty was entered bv Robert Turnbull Hutchison Rae in the Oamaru Magistrate's Court, before Mr. H. W. Bundle. S.M., to-dav, to a charge that between May 2, 1936, and September 14. 1938. be received sums totalling £.387 on terms requiring him to account for or pay the money to the Oamaru Borough Council, and that lie fraudulently _ omitted to do so, thereby committing theft. He was committed' to the Supreme Court for sentence.
