VISITS FROM FAR AND NEAR Miss Norice Davies has left Opotiki to reside in Auckland. Mrs. M. Dickson, of Opotiki, has been -spending a holiday in the North Auckland district.

Mrs. J. O. Musgrave, of Beach Road, Gisborne, who recently arrived to spend a holidav in Opotiki with her mother, Mrs. J. Parkinson, Richard Street, has returned home.

Mrs. Maiarice Priestly, of Auckland, was the guest of Mrs. de Montalk, while visiting Opotiki. Miss Sheffield, of Auckland, was the guest of Mrs. W. H. Penton, while visiting Opotiki. Mrs. H. W. Callagher, of Napier, was the guest of Mrs. S. D. Abbot, while on a holiday visit. During the course of a motor tour, Mrs. V. Bacon and family, of Levin, were the guests of Mrs. Kelly, Hospital Hill. Mrs. Charles Gordon, of Opotiki, has returned after a holiday visit to Australia.

Mrs. T. Hennessv has been spending a holiday with Mrs. A. Nicol, *of Paeroa.

Mrs. C. A. Berry, of Thames, is spending a holidav in Opotiki as the guest ot Mrs. F. W. Bridger. Mr. and Mrs. McCullough, who have resided in Opotiki for some time, have left for Te Puke. Mrs.,H. J. Mail is visiting Wellington. She was accompanied to New Plymouth by Mrs. Mail, senior, who has returned to her home after spending a holiday in Opotiki. Mrs. J. C. Irving, of Blenheim, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Gow, Carmvllie, Opotiki. Miss Betty White, of Kutarere, is spending a "holiday in Auckland and tne Waikato district.
