ARCHITECTURAL STUDY
COURSES AT UNIVERSITY NEW LECTURES PROPOSED A course of instruction in landscape architecture is to be included next year in tlie syllabus of the School of Architecture at Auckland University College, according to a decision of the College Council yesterday. "It is our intention to repeat the course of interior decoration lectures by Sir. A. M. Chisholm," stated Professor C. R. Knight, in a report to the recommend the initiation of a course of 12 lectures to be given by Mr. Vernon Brown. It has also long been my intention to introduce courses of instruction in landscape architecture, for which I am sure there is a great demand. "I would recommend the council to commence next year a course of 12 lectures by Mr. H. L. Massey on this subject. Both Mr. Massey and Mr. Brown, in their respective specialised fields, would be valuable acquisitions to the staff of the School of Architecture." The recommendations were approved by the council.
