DRIVER REMANDED
INTOXICATION ALLEGED Charged with being in charge of a motor-truck whilo in a sto-to of intoxication in New North Road on November 14, Thomas Ratcliffo, hawker, aged 30, appeared before Mr. C. K. Orr Walker, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Ho was further charged with resisting Constable McGlore in tho execution of his duty. , On the application of Mr. Boyes, who appeared for accused, a remand until next Monday was granted, bail ot ±,t)U being allowed.
