IS While the Court has been in Scotland the King has had prepared for his two daughters, in the grounds of Buckingbam Palace, a new swimming pool. [Workmen have "been busy forming the pool, which is of full size, with the bottom and walls of thick concrete, and now they are engaged on the final process of, tiling. . The King decided at the beginning of ffchis summer to have the pool made on the site of the old racquets court in the Palace grounds, near the garden entrance. The floor of the old court, \t!hich was used by King Edward VII., but has been in disuse tor many years, whs broken up to make way for th© new pool, but the glass roof has been left in position. PrinceM Elizabeth, who has been baying lessons for about three years, is tlrfi&dy a good swimmer, and this year she passed her test for a life-saving certificate. "Princess Margaret, although she has not been learning so long, is already, quite proficient in the water. 'Almost every week-end during the summer the Roval children have races and other games in their private swimming pool at Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Next year they will be able to have their weekly swimming lessons at home. BThey have previously had instruction at the Bath Club.
