WRESTLING
MATCH ON MONDAY NIGHT BLOMFIELD MEETS O'SHOCKER Two experts in the use of the forearm jolt will be brought together in the professional heavy-weight wrestling match at the Auckland Town Hall on Monday night, when Lofty Blomfield, the New Zealand champion, wil! meet Pat O'Shocker, an Irish-American who is on his way home after a highly successful season in Australia. Blomficld'u effectiveness with the jolt is well appreciated by his followers, and tho American, who has even greater size and strength than the local man, has also mnde a specialty of this attacking measure, which never fails to arouse keen excitement among the spectators. Tho jolting exchanges, however, will be only one source of interest, as both men are well versed in other departments of tho sport. Blomfield will doubtless attempt to catch his rival with the octopus clamp, and will have in his favour O'Shocker's probable ignorance of just what leads to this grip. If the clamp fails, Blomfield will still have his newlydeveloped arm strangle, a Boston crab and other moves to cTill upon. O'Shocker is also well equipped with orthodox and specialty holds, and his effectiveness with flying tackles, drop-kicks and flying scissors holds will serve to keep the proceedings moving it a lively pac6. There is every indication of a thrilling :ontest, and. with R. Douglas and F. Irvino in the ring in a professional preliminary, coupled with a good selection of amateur bouts, a fine evening's sport is assured.
