TURF JOTTINGS TRACK AND STABLE GOSSIP i\lr. C. T. Keeblo recently lost by death the filly by Lackham from Lucretia, and a lull-sister to Mala. \ , . Snorting Blood is doing service as a stallion in the Gisbornc district, and lie has two yearlings and several foals who will in due course represent him on.the racecourse. Race Call was withdrawn from the Shorts Handicap at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday. Willie Win was entered ns an acceptor in the original list for the Wellington Handicap by mistake. Ruatiti, the three-year-old fullbrother to Porotiti, was brought down to Trentham this week for educational purposes. He is a big, raking chestnut, and has as yet a laboured style ol net ion Screamer, who was leased by Mr. N. Aitken, Wellington, is racing once more in the interests of his breeder. Mr. F. Williamson. Screamer has shown speed on tho tracks but ho has seldom reproduced it in races. Miracle, tho six-yoar-old half-brother to McHeath, has been doing well in his latest preparation by J. C. Tomkinson but as in the* past he may not stand up to much racing, as he has not a good constitution. Erination has freshened well on the easy tasks that have been apportioned him during the last couple of weeks, and present intentions are that he will contest the high-weight event at tho Rotorua Hunt mooting.
