The Prime Minister said to-day that the heads of the department were getting the machinery ready and were to report to the Government. "It is a big thing and it involves much preliminary work," he said. "It means arranging for buildings and administrative offices all over the country, and the appointment of three commissioners to act under the supervision of the Minister in charge will have to be considered pretty early," Mr. Savage said the Minister who would be in charge of the scheme had not yet been singled out. Commenting on the health scheme, he said the Government would hare to get the medical profession ready for the administration of the scheme. "That will mean consultation with the doctors. We are asking them to help to shape the administration of the regulations."
