SECOND ANNUAL/ BALL Clusters of brightly-coloured balloons lent a festive atmosphere to the Art* "Hall, Kitchener Street, on Wednesday night, when the second annual ball oi the Lancashire Society was held there. The hostess, Mrs. Gaughan, received the guests, each of whom was presented with a red rose, the emblem the society.
