LABOUR PARTY
DANCE AT ARIA CANDIDATE AS GUEST Success attended the first annual ball «f the Aria branch of the Labour Party held recently in the Aria Hall. About 300 people were present. Red. white and blue provided the colour scheme for the decorations, the windows being draped in these colours and a large replica of the Labour Party badge in silver glitter 'on a red background having prominence. The president of the branch, Mrs. R. Calvert, and the secretary, Mr. Monk, received the guests, who included Mr. J. Jones, Labour Party candidate for Waitomo, and Mrs. Jones. The latter was presented with a bouquet and both were accorded musical honours
