AFTERNOON AT MANUREWA The t-oiiiinittt*e of the Manmewa Children's Home held a very successful afternoon party at the home yesterday. The purpose of the function was to create\further interest in the work for children that, is being carried out there. v . Much interest was shown in the recent alterations and additions 'that had been made there, these including a recreation room, a suite for the master and matron, and new furniture. An entertainment programme, to which some of the children contributed items, preceded afternoon tea.
