ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH COMPETITOR ASSISTED SUPPORTERS' BRIDGE EVENING To enhanco the prospects of the popular girl candidate Miss Bernadette Alder, in the Westmere-Rich-mond group of the St. Joseph's Church queen carnival contest a bridge and 500 evening was held in the Catholic Women's League rooms. A brief speech in appreciation of the assistance received was made by Monsignor Hoi brook. Prizes were awarded to' Mrs. Wintlirop and Mrs. Hanfling for bridge, and Mrs. Ferguson for 500.
