HAPPINESS CLUB
MOUNT ALBERT BRANCH FAREWELL TO PRESIDENT A farewell evening for Canon and Mrs. R. G. Coats, arranged by the Mount Albert branch of the Happiness Club, of which Mrs. Coats was president, ivas held in St. Luke's Hall, Mount Albert, on Thursday. Mrs. Coats has resigned from the position owing to her change of residence. A presentation of ..a leather week-end case was made to Mrs. Coats by Miss Dorothy Wood, Mr. E. Silver and Mrs. N. Donne. A delightful programme of sketches, character dances and vocal and instrumental items was given by Madam Annetta Stock and her pupils, assisted by Mrs. Warren and Miss Irene Yail. Community singing was also enjoyed, with Miss Dorothy Wood at the piano. The accompanists were Madam Stock and- Mrs. Warren. Supper concluded the evening. Mrs. F. R. Woodham presided.
