NORTHERN UNION'S OFFICERS The president, Mr. J. D. Draper, presided over a large attendance of delegates at the annual meeting of the Northern Athletic Union ai Te Aroha. The balance-sheet showed considerable improvement on the previous year and prospects are bright for the coming season. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. F. T. McAneny (Auckland); vice-presidents, Messrs. H. E. Lawrenco (Otorohariga), T. Alexander (Mangakahia); executive, Messrs. H. Wagstaffe (Springdaie), W. Gorrle (Donnelly's Crossing), F. Meale (Te Awamutu), T. Devereux (Owhango)/ N. Hastie (Mangawai), W. flpeed (Maramarua), W. Howard (Morrinsville), P. Silva (Pukekohe); auditor, Mr. N. McElroy (Otahuhu); secretary-treasurer, Mr. J. L. Harris (Otahuhu); consuls, Messrs. J. D. Draper (Maungatapere), P. Pilkington- (Te Aroha), E. Palliser (Springdale), P. Bygrave (Te Aroha), L. C. Anderson (Manunui), I;. Kelly (Morrjnsville), D. McNab (Waihi), N. G. McLeod (Waitoa); handicappers, Messrs. C. L. Hardy (chopping and sawing), S. D. C.eorirn (athletics), J. Mathicson (athletics and cycling), V. .1 O'Donnell (athletics).
