SHOW OPENS TO-DAY

FINE DISPLAY ASSURED *

A fine display of spring blooms will be staged by the Auckland Horticultural Society at the spring flower show to be held in a marquee on the Auckland railway station lawn to-day and to-morrow. .Record entries have been received and the show promises to be one of the_ most successful for some years. "J , _ All blooms, Particularly daffodils, have been stimulated by the weather of thef last few weeks and there will be several striking displays, tho Auckland Racing Club and the Auckland City Council having prepared outstanding exhibits. The show will be opened at two o'clock this afternoon by Mr. J. L. Coakley, chairman of tho Parks and Reserves Committee of the Auckland City Council.
