NEW INDUSTRIAL COURT

The first business of the new Industrial Court, presided over by Mr. J. A. Gilmour, S.M., was the hearing yesterday of two appeals against the refusal of tho district registrar of apprentices to register apprenticeship _ contracts under the northern industrial district electrical workers' apprenticeship order. The sitting was held at the Arbitration Court. , One case related to the employment of a youth at Tuakau, and the other to the employment of a youth at One-, hunga. In the case of the youth a Tuakau, the appeal was adjourned to enable the committee to consider recommendation made by the Court, in tho second case, decision was reserves.
