LIEUTENANT-GOVERNOR SIR PHILIP STREET CONDITION CAUSES ANXIETY (Received September 9, 0.45 p.m.) f SYDNEY, Sept. 9 The Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales, Sir Philip Street, is seriously ill. His condition is causing anxiety. Sir Philip Street, who is 75 years of age, has been Lieutenant-Governor of New South Wales since 1930. He was Chief Justice of New South Wales from 1925 to 1934, retiring on reaching the age limit. In 1928 he was created a K.C.M.G.
