NGATIRA CLUB'S OFFICERS The report anil balance-sheet of the Ngatira Lawn Tennis Club, presented at the annual meeting:, disclosed a very successful season. The president. JTr. R. G. Armitage. congratulated the teams playing in the B C and D grades on reaching the finals of the Auckland hard-court championships, and the E grade team on winning the championship in its grade. The election of officers resulted as fol-lows:—-Pa Iron, Mr. T. McNab; president, Mr K. G. Armitage; vice-presidents. Messrs. K. N. Buttle and A. McKenzie; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. P. C. Soittal: club captain. Mr. W. Armstrong: committee, Misses G. Bark. P. H. Croft, Messrs. F. G. Feed, B. Burns. C. A. White, A. Pennell. CLUBS AMALGAMATE [BY TELF,GRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TE PUKE, Monday A decision to amalgamate under the name of the To Puke Tennis Club and to become an incorporated body was arrived at by a representative meeting of the Te Puke and To Puke Central Clubs. The new club will now be in a position to negotiate wittiv the Te Puke Borough Council for the construction of four new courts in Jubilee Park.
