INSULT TO TEACHER
COy RT FINES TWO WOMEN [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] GREYMOUTH, Monday In the Magistrate's Court Violet Young, of Boa, and Eva Fletcher, of Carterton, her sister, both married, Avero charged in tho Magistrate's Court with insulting a teacher at the Roa school in the hearing of the pupils. Mrs. Young was fined £1 ns with costs, and Mrs. Fletcher was fined £2 15s with costs. The magistrate, Mr. R. E. Ferner, said that teachers were entitled to the protection of the Court. The incident occurred when the women visited the school an explanation of a dis?ute in -'-% he playground when Mrs. oung : s ' daughter refused to play a game.
