TRAGEDY IN MINE
CAGE DROPS 700 FEET FIVE STUDENTS KILLED VANCOUVER, July 23 Five University engineer graduates plunged 700 ft. to death in a runaway cage at the Lamac|iie t golcl mine, in Northern Quebec. The assistant superintendent was about to enter the cage, when it dropped to the bottom of the shaft.
