TWO WOMEN HURT
CAR AND VAN COLLIDE ONE VEHICLE CAPSIZES Two young women wore injured as a result of a collision between a delivery van and a light motor-car at the corner of Khyber Pass Road and Grafton Road shortly beforo midnight last night. They were Miss F. Dean, of Penrose, who was admitted to tho Auckland Hospital suffering from injuries to a leg, and Miss M. Carruthers, also of Penrose, who was treated in the casualty department of the hospital and subsequently discharged. The two women were passengers in the cab of the van, which was driven by Mr. J. A. Waller, of Penrose, and was proceeding along Khyber Pass Road toward Newmarkot. The car was coming out of Grafton Road from the direction of tho city and was driven by a young man who was unaccompanied. As a result of the impact the van turned a complete somersault, landing upright on its wheels. The light wooden framework forming the cab and body of the van was torn off and the chassis was fairly extensively damaged. The right front wheel pith© cw wa«.also-gmash©clf
