SHORT TOURS IN VIEW A statement that he intended to ihake short tours from time to Jfcime during the coming session of Parliament is attributed to the Prime Minister; Mr. Savage, by the Standard. Mr. Savage said he had made a definite promise to visit New Plymouth and he would go there as soon as possible.. He also wanted to- make a tour of the North Auckland district and other places where the people had not had an opportunity of meeting him. The tour he had just completed, he said, was the forerunner of others.
