HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL [I'RO.U OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] HAMILTON, Thursday "Educationally,- the school continues to show very satisfactory results, and the training given by "the staff is of a order," said Mr. C. L. Mac* Diarmid. chairman o* the Hamilton High School board of governors, in his report to the annual meeting to-day. The number on tlio roll on March 31 was 472, all being free-place scholars. The number of applications for accommodation at the school's boarding hostel had exceeded the room available, and the lease of a neighbouring cottage had to bo secured. Mr. MacDiarmid said the expense of conducting the Udstel had increased, and it would be necessary to increase the fees next .year. Mr. MacDiarmid congratulated the acting-headmaster, Mr. H. D. 'fait, on the excellent tone of the school and on the efficiency of the staff.
