HOCKEY PLAYERS
TEAMS FROM COUNTRY OFFICIAL HOSPITALITY MORNING TEA PARTIES Among the entertainment arranged for the managers, chaperones and ■women members of the country hockey teams wlio are taking part in the Auckland Provincial Cup competition, have been two morning tea parties, one of which was given on Monday and one yesterday. On Monday the visiting managers and chaperones and ollicials of the Auckland Hockey Association were entertained at morning tea in the John Court tea rooms. The president of tlio Auckland Hockey Association, Mr. L. C. Kent, presided ami expressed the thanks of nil present to Mr. John Court for his hospitality. Airs. Harris, of Waipa, replied on behalf of the visitors. The women hockey players in the visiting teams were present at a morning tea given in the Milne and Choyee tea rooms yesterday, the Y.W.C.A. and the Auckland Men's Hockey Association also being represented. A welcome to the country players was extended by Mr. L. C. Kent, .Mrs. Lang, of Thames, replying on behalf of the visitors to Mr. Kent and to Air. S. Milne.
