HUNT CLUB BALL
TAURANGA FUNCTION DEBUTANTES PRESENTED The Hunt Club Ball, lield in the Town Hall at Tauranga, was a groat success. Nino debutantes were presented to tho master'of the hunt, Dr. H. Bertram, of Eotorua, and to Mrs. Bertram, who wore a frock of black lace. Mrs. C. H. Burnett, who presented the debutantes, wore black met a lasso. . The debutantes were: —Miss Mane Washer, Miss Elaine Pemberton, Miss Joyce Gilbert, Miss Mary Hawkens, Miss Mina Carswell, Miss June Hiekson, Miss Maisie Pemberton, Miss Eileen Snowden and Miss Irma Ormsby. Among those present were: —Mesdames E. Bartrum (Te Puke), A. Andrews (Katikati), L. Crowley, N. Campbell. F. W. J)oi()ge, K. Giilord, L. Green L. A. liawke, J. Guinness, Judd H. Mollgnnrd, G. McLaren, R. Grav B. Morpeth, M. l'orston, M. Wailis, T. Woollams, Ogle,-K. lavlor, C! F Washer, G. Young, and Misses A. Bradmore, M. Olding, M. ltenmu, A. Stephenson (Auckland), M. and .1. Sanderson, A. Trundle, B. Watson (Jo Puke), M. W 7 ratten. D. Hortey. Mrs. C. Boak, Fifth Avenue, is visiting Eotorua. . Mrs. J. B. MacDiarmid, Doronport Road, lias left on an eastern cruise. Mrs. Cameron, of Mastej'ton, ia a visitor to Tauranga.
