NATIONAL PARTY
MEETING AT KERIKERI FORMATION OF COMMITTEE AUCKLAND OFFICIAL'S ADDRESS A largo number of women assembled at tfie homestead at Kerikeri to meet Mrs. E. Gould, a vice-president of the llemucra area of tho women's organisation of the National Party, who is touring the north with Mrs. T. Bassett, of Mangakahia. Mrs. Gould is addressing the women electors of each district on behalf of the National Party. The meeting was most enthusiastic, and at the close of her address a hearty vote of thanks was passed. The following committee of the Kerikeri area was elected: —Mrs. B. Eilkins, Mrs. Leo Dwan, Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Kiernander, Mrs. Bryson, Mrs. Gaisford, Mrs. Emanuel, jun., Mrs. Moir, Miss Hewitt, Miss Rentier and Miss Alderton. Afternoon tea was provided by a committee of ladies, including Mrs. B. H. Edkiiis, Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. L. Alexander, Mrs. Kiernander and Mrs. L. Dwan. Among those present were:—Mrs. L. Brown, Mrs. Alexander Knowles, Mrs. Bryson, Mrs. Keid-Anderson, Mrs. Georgo Thorpe, Mrs. Marplcs, Mrs. Lvness, Mrs. Emanuel, sen., Mrs. It. Waters, Mrs. Bilkic, Mrs. M. Wallace, Mrs. Ainsworth, Mrs. J. Walker, Mrs. J. Mclnnes, Mrs. David Duncan, Mrs. H. ' TJlrich, Mrs. L. Dwan, Mi's. Alexander, Mrs. K. Cooper, Mrs. Stuckey, Mrs. Lang, Ml"s. C. Queen, Mrs. Gerald Black, Mrs. Noill, Mrs. Gaisford, Mrs, Bassett, Mrs. Emanuel jun., Mrs. Eastgato, Mrs. Graham Hyde, Mrs. Eric Jones, Mrs. Garthorne, Miss Lyness, Miss Hewitt and Miss Alderton.
