PROGRAMME AT WESTPORT AERODROME SITE INSPECTION [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WESTPORT, Sunday The Minister of Defence, th 6 Hon. F. Jones, arrived at Westport to-day, and was the guest of honour at a social function held by the Westport branch of the New Zealand Labour Party tonight. The Mayor of Westport, Mr. J. Kilkenny, was also present, and Mr. W. H. Woodcock presided over an attendance of about 60, including many representatives of near by branches of the Labour Party. • ••>■?.><

Accompanied by members of ?the Westport Borough Council and representatives of other local authorities/the Minister .will inspect the site of the proposed new aerodrome at : Westport to-morrow. This project will cost about £12,000. Mr. Jones will also make ail inspection of the Westport harbour facilities during his present visit.
