SAFE IN STORE OPENED [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN COIUIESrONDENT] PAEROA, Tuesday Tho premises of tho Paeroa Hardware Company were unlawfully entered during tho holiday, and the office safe was opened. Details as to anything missing cannot bo ascertained, as the manager, Mr. D. Prime, is away from Paeroa. The safe was opened with a key and the contents taken. Tho same promises have figured in two other burglaries within tho past IS months. On ono occasion a sum of money was taken from under the counter, and another time tho back door was prised open and an entrance effected.
