IMPORTANT REMITS NORTHERN DISTRICT COUNCIL Several important remits dealing with agricultural and pastoral shows will be discussed at the annual meeting of the Northern district council of the Royal Agricultural Society which will be held in Auckland to-morrow afternoon. The council is composed of delegates' from agricultural and pastoral societies throughout the Auckland province. Among the subjects to be discussed is a remit from the Whangarei Society urging that the Racing Conference be requested to amend the rules of racing to permit hack racing for unregistered horses and unregistered riders at agricultural shows. An election of four members to the executive of the council will be held during the morning. Five delegates will be appointed to represent the Northern council on the Royal Agricultural Society executive committee.
