MATCH ON SATURDAY NIGHT BLOMFIELD TO MEET STEELE Ray Steele, recognised as one of the greatest wrestlers in the world, gave the _ Auckland public a sample of his ability when he defeated Abe Yourist at the Town Hall on Monday evening. Steele is undoubtedly a very speedy wrestler, as he demonstrated when he lifted his opponent for the slam which finished the contest. Steele will not be seen in many matches in New Zealand as he is due to go on to Australia for a number of bouts. His next appearance will be against Lofty Blomfield at the Town Hall on Saturday night. He has not yet experienced the Aucklander's famous octopus clamp, and it will be interesting to see if he is able to counter it should Blomfield find an opportunity of applying same. Blomfield will meet Leo Jensen at the Rotorua Stadium on Friday night, and followers of the sport in that centre should witness a good match. Jensen has been performing well in the South.
