EVENING OF MUSIC

CLASSIC CLUB FUNCTION An interesting programme of vocal and instrumental music was presented at a meeting of the Classic Club this week. The vice-president, Mr. Owen Jensen, presided. Members who contributed vocal numbers were: —Miss Winifred Hill, Miss Joan Moody, Mr. Henry Donaldson and Mr. Arthur Thompson. Instrumental trios were played by Miss Daphne Highani (violin), Miss Betty Fenton (cello) and Mrs. Maud Lysaght (piano), while pianoforte items were played by Miss Pearl George and Miss Tui Ward. The accompanist was Mr. Owen Jensen
