CROQUET SEASON
REMUERA CLUB'S SUCCESS ANNUAL MEETING HELD The congratulations of the president, Mrs. J. Jarvie, on the sound financial position of the club, were expressed at the annual meeting of the Remuera Croquet Club this week. Mrs. Jarvie also referred to the fact that the high standard of play on the part of some of the members had resulted in many honours being won. Tho president said that Mrs. L. Keys had won tho Auckland singles championship and she had also acnievcd tho distinction of being champion of champions. Mrs. E. Henrys had won the silver button and Mrs. Isbister the Auckland B championship. Appreciation of the work of the greens superintendent, Mrs. E. Henrys, was expressed by Mrs. Jarvie. The following officers were elected:— President, Mrs. J. Jarvie; vice-presi-dents, Mrs. A. Coutts, Mrs. E. D. Henrys; honorary secretary, Mrs. J. H. Watts; honorary treasurer, Mrs. B. Bassett; executive, Mesdames E. Daniels, J. P. O'Connor, C. Webber, J. Wooller, Innes Allan, A. Gardner, Rawnsley; match committee, Mrs. W. Burrett, Mrs. Ellison, Mrs. A. R. Graham, Misses Hodge, Coleman; tea committee, Mesdames Daniels, Wilson, Notley, Healey; delegates to Auckland council, Mesdames Chas. Webber, J. Jarvie, J. H. Watts; green superintendent, Mrs. E. Henrys; assistant, Mrs. A. Coutts; club reporter, Mrs. J. W. Lowe.
