SCHEME FOR IMPROVEMENTS

PUKEKOHE, Thursday
A number of improvements to the Franklin Agricultural and Pastoral Society's showground at Pukekohe has been decided on by the executive and will be carried out before the society's annual show next February. A second cattle pavilion is to be erected, the cost of this work being subsidised by the Franklin Jersey Club. A new loading bank for stock will also be provided. Plans are to be considered at a later meeting for the provision of covered pig pens. ' A donation of £lO 10s has been voted to the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association to be allocated to the pig section for the 1938 Royal Show.
