FATAL ELECTRIC SHOCK
THRESHING MILL WORKER ELEVATOR TOUCHES WIRES [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] ASHBURTON, Friday A single man, Mr. John Rod, aged 52, of Winslow, a member of a threshing mill crew, was electrocuted last evening when endeavouring to operate the lowering gear of an elevator that had come into contact with electric wires at the entrance to a farm at Tinwald.
