END OF SEASON

REMUERA CROQUET CLUB PRESENTATION OF PRIZES The season of the Remuera Croquet Club was formally closed on Thursday afternoon. Many players were present and progressive croquet was played. Prizes were donated by Mrs. Healey, Mrs. Watts, Mrs. Cross, Mrs. Isbister and Mrs. Graham, and were won by the following:—A section: Mrs. R. Skeet, Mrs. R. Ellison and Mrs Ismonger. B section: Mrs. Rand, Mrs. Rawnsley and Mrs. Willcocks. After tea, which was served in the pavilioiij the president, Mrs. J. Jarvie, presented the trophies won in the various club competitions. Among those present were:—Mrs. Chas. Webber, Mrs. Daniels, Mrs. Rand (England), Mrs. La we, Mrs. Bruce. Mrs. Rankin (South Australia), Mrs. Swales, Mrs. Bassett, Mrs. Burns, Mrs.- Glenny, Mrs. R. Peacocke, Mrs Canavan, Mrs. Basten, Mrs. O'Connor, Mrs. Beverly (Christchurch), Mrs. Coir (To Awamutu), Mrs. Hampton, Mrs L. Shcppherd, Mrs. Whitinore, Mrs. Gardner, Mrs. Mahoney, Mrs. Napier. Mrs. Johnstone, Mrs. Morris, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Coltman, Mrs. Coutts, Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Allan, Mrs. Lusher, Mrs. Keys, Mrs. S. Harbutt, Mrs. Isbister, Mrs. Graham, Mrs. Cross, Airs.
