VACUUM-PACKED PRODUCE COMPANY TO LIQUIDATE [from our own correspondent] LONDON, April 13 It is proposed to place Vacuum-Packed Produce, a company importing New Zealand butter into England, into voluntary liquidation. Shareholders will be asked to approve this plan at a meeting to be held on April 21. A circular to shareholders states that, while tho company has an increasing business, it has been handicapped by lack of working capital. Tho present position of tho company and tho general situation make it impossible -for .further capital to he raised. It is hoped that some arrangements will bo made for reconstructing the company. Lieutenant-Colonel E. fF W. Lascelles is chairman of tho company, which was formed in 1934 to market dairy and other products packed under a vacuum : process. Issued capital is £62,121 in : os shares.
