IRON FROM CHINA JAPANESE MINING PLANS TOKIO, April 20 The Yomitiri Shimbun says the Japanese have organised the China Iron Mine Company to operate tho Taipiiig and other mines on tho Yangtse Kiang, from which they plan to supply 1,000,000 tons of oro a year to Japanese industries. The Domei News Agency says Japanese industrialists are preparing to exploit the Tatting coal mines in Shensi, so that they will produce 12,000,000 tons a year within five years. In the meantime, new decrees severely rationing iron and petrol hav« come into force here.
