FAMILY'S LUCKY FIND PICTURE SOLD FOR £62,000 PRESENTATION TO MUSEUM (Received April 21, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 21 Forced to sell some property, says the Rotterdam correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, q, Dutch family living in modest circumstances in Paris turned out from a linen cupboard an unframed picture which had been in the family's possession for 260 years. Its size was 36 inches by 44 inches, and it represented Christ with His Disciples. The picture was. sent to a Dutch expert, Dr. Bredius, who declared it to be 8 fine specimen of work by the 16th Century painter Vermeer. Later he found on it Vermeer's signature, covered by thick varnish. Three patriotic Dutchmen have purchased the rpainting for £62.000 and presented it to the Rotterdam Museum.
