INCREASES AT HAMILTON, FIGURES FOR THE HOLIDAYS ' CfROM OtTB OWN CORRESPONDENT] V HAMILTON, Thursday Although Easter fell earlier in 1937 than this year, a greater inclination to travel during the holiday period is indicated by the statistics -from the Frankton and Hamilton railway stations and booking offices in the to\ra. At the Hamilton railway station the number of passengers dealt witlf was 1902 during the holidays, compared with 1663 for the same period last year. The revenue taken at the station was £526, showing an increase of £ll2 over last year's returns. ever, at Frankton, 2871 passengers used* the trains, compared with ,2928 last year, and the revenue dropped from £1486 to £1324. The number of passengers leaving Hamilton by the New Zealand Government road services during the holidays also advanced on last year's figures.
