APPEARANCE OF COWBOY CONTEST TO-MORROW NIGHT Tho singing cowboy, Pat Fraley, tho rodeo, radio and wrestling star, who recently arrived for tho 1938 New Zealand wrestling season, will mako his debut at the Auckland Town Hall to-morrow night against Joo Tontl, tho rugged Italian-American who created a highly favourable impression in his first bout in Wellington. Fraley, who is sft llin in height and woighs over 16st, Is one of the finest physical specimens ever seen in a wrestling ring, and his wrestling record places him in the front rank of his profession. He has a forearm jolt that has enabled him to smash his way through to many a victory, and, in giving free rein to his penchant for open tactics, makes free use of flying tackles, drop-kicks and flying scissors holds. Tonti, who has been nicknamed "Londos the Second," has always been noted as an all-round athlete. Starting his professional wrestling career among tho light-heavy-weights, he commenced to compete among the heavy-weights in 1032, and sinco then his performances have been so consistently good that the big promoters in America have always kept him busy against high-class opposition. Abe Coleman, Howard Cantonwine and Joe and Rudy Dusek are among tho more prominent of his mat victims. There will be a special professional preliminary between F. Boric and K. Kenneth, who defoated R. Douglas last week. The following amateur bouts will precede the two professional matches:—E. Pinches (Lynndalo), 10.3, v. F. Webb (Kiwi), 10.7; K. Brewer (Otahuhu), 9.10, v. G. Frazor (Leys), 10.3. Emergency bout: P. Hill (Broadway), 8.0, v. G. Shaw (Leys), B^4.
