OLD ENGLISH CUSTOM LONDON, April IS Royal Maundy money was distributed in accordance with ancient custom at Westminster Abbey yesterday. Fortythree aged men and 43 aged women r» ceived specially minted Maundy money, their numbers being determined by thl King's age. The Duke and Duchess of Kent and Princess Helena Victoria attended thl Maundy service. The Archbishop of Can' terbury, Dr. Cosmo Lang, as Lord Higl Almoner, made the distribution.
